The Production Associate / Operator role involves performing visual inspections and repairs of doors on the production line, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities
Perform visual quality inspections of door stacks entering the work area via conveyor
Identify, assess, and repair newly and previously identified door defects
Restack doors that meet quality specifications and push pallets onto conveyors
Place unrepairable doors into cull stacks and document on reject sheets
Operate jump tracks and straighten doors as required
Push door stacks onto infeed tracks of the paint booth
Use hand and power tools including glue guns, palm sanders, sanding blocks, wood chisels, clamps, and putty knives
Apply Bondo, hot melt glue, touch-up paint, and putty as required
Assist with various stages of door production as needed
Communicate quality or process-related defects to upstream and downstream departments for quick resolution
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret work tickets, instructions, and specifications
Strong ability to identify product defects and assess repairability
Knowledge of sanders, planers, and hand tools used in wood craftsmanship
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
High School education
