Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive cleaning duties throughout the plant floor to maintain high operational standards
Responsible for the systematic collection and disposal of trash and production debris
Thoroughly sweep floors, clear walkways, and ensure the production area is free of obstructions
Adhere to all facility safety protocols, including the consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Potential to assist with material movement using a forklift (onsite re-training and certification provided for experienced operators)
Proactively identify and report any maintenance needs or potential safety hazards to management
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 1 year of past experience in a factory or industrial cleaning role
Must be comfortable working in a rugged environment that is very cold and dirty
Must provide and wear steel-toed shoes; safety glasses must be worn at all times
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift consistently throughout the shift
A strong work history with a track record of excellent attendance and a 'can-do' attitude
Preferred
Past experience driving a forklift is a significant plus (re-certification will be provided)
