Water Sustainability Manager, WW Sustainability

Responsibilities

Work with external partners to source replenishment projects for 10-15 watersheds per year
Manage relationships with existing partners and ensure that projects deliver sustainable benefits for targeted watersheds
Work with the Amazon Worldwide Sustainability Water Replenishment team to track project pipeline for replenishment projects in targeted watersheds
Work with internal teams to complete contracting and payment processes for all projects
Work with external partners to identify and validate volumetric benefits of replenishment projects
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
Communicate publicly about Amazon’s water stewardship work

Required

Bachelor's Degree in water resources management, international development, or other relevant field
5+ years' work experience in water resources management, international development, or other relevant field
Proven ability to source, develop, oversee, and track water projects with non-profit and/or private sector partners
Strong understanding of corporate water stewardship, international water and sanitation programs, watershed restoration, or water technology
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills and ability to recommend actionable decisions with limited data
Proven record of accomplishment cultivating strong relationships with external stakeholders

Preferred

7+ years' work experience in water resources management, international development, or other relevant field
Analytical mindset that can identify gaps in requirements during project development, predict performance, build cost models, and provide recommendations on a short notice and with sometimes incomplete information
