Systems & Data Integration Specialist

AT&C Revenue Services is a national leader in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) revenue cycle management. They are seeking a Systems & Data Integration Specialist who will focus on MS Access development, lightweight application design, automation, and advanced data analysis to optimize data workflows and support operational reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows that ingest, transform, and standardize data from multiple sources (CSV, Excel, flat files, SQL exports, system reports)
Develop refreshable, scalable data pipelines using Excel Power Query, Access queries, and structured file ingestion
Normalize and validate datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and repeatability across reporting cycles
Monitor ETL performance and proactively adjust workflows as source systems, file structures, or business needs change
Establish naming conventions, folder structures, and data standards that support long-term scalability and auditability
Build foundational data models that support operational, financial, and performance reporting
Create reusable datasets that serve as single sources of truth for leadership dashboards and recurring reports
Support business intelligence efforts by preparing clean, well-structured data for downstream reporting tools (Excel-based analytics, future BI platforms)
Partner with leadership to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical data solutions, not one-off spreadsheets
Continuously improve data availability, refresh timing, and usability for decision-makers
Design and maintain lightweight internal applications using MS Access, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools to support operational workflows
Build tools that support: Data intake and validation, Workflow tracking, Standardized reporting inputs, Operational controls and checks, Enhance existing tools to improve performance, usability, and reliability
Ensure applications are documented, maintainable, and resilient to staff or system changes
Use advanced MS Access to build and maintain workflow applications that employ relational databases, queries, forms, VBA coding, and report creation. These workflow applications will be used by company employees
Develop and maintain reliable ETL workflows for transforming raw data into standardized formats
Extract data from numerous system sources (CSV, Excel, text, SQL exports, etc.)
Build tools and datasets that support reporting, dashboards, and operational insights
Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone workflows and redesign them using automation-first principles
Implement automation using: Power Query-based pipelines, Excel automation and structured logic, Access-based process engines, Microsoft 365 workflow tools where appropriate, Reduce dependency on manual intervention by building self-updating, system-driven processes
Evaluate tradeoffs between automation complexity and operational risk to ensure solutions are sustainable
Own technical documentation for all data pipelines, applications, and automated workflows
Develop SOPs that clearly describe: Data sources and dependencies, Transformation logic, Refresh schedules, Failure points and resolution steps, Maintain version control and change tracking for core datasets and tools
Ensure data access, permissions, and usage align with company standards and compliance expectations
Partner closely with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Leadership teams to understand business needs
Translate operational requirements into clear technical designs and build plans
Communicate system capabilities, limitations, and enhancements in plain language
Support leadership in evaluating future tools, platforms, or system integrations by providing grounded technical insight
Own and manage employee system access provisioning across internal and external client environments to ensure continuity of operations and data workflows
Coordinate access requests, approvals, and removals in alignment with security, compliance, and data governance standards. Coordinate with other IT vendors to obtain systems access for company employees
Serve as the central point of accountability for: Citrix / RDP / VDI access, MFA and authentication tools, Application and platform permissions (RDP/VDI Setup), RingCentral user setup and system alignment
Ensure system access is documented, auditable, and standardized, with clear lifecycle management from onboarding through role changes and offboarding
Support employee technical onboarding by: Ensuring required tools and access are in place on day one, Providing clear, step-by-step guidance for system setup where needed, Resolving access blockers that directly impact data workflows or operational execution, Identify recurring access or configuration issues and design permanent fixes rather than repeated manual interventions
Maintain detailed SOPs for access, onboarding, technical configurations, and data workflows
Develop templates and repeatable processes to scale technical operations
Continuously seek improvements in speed, accuracy, and employee experience

Required

3+ years of experience in technical support, IT operations, data systems, or a similar hybrid technical role
Expert-level MS Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
Expert-level MS Access skills (relational database design, queries, forms, VBA code, reports)
Demonstrated experience building ETL workflows or automated data processes
Experience designing repeatable, scalable data structures and workflows, not one-off solutions
Ability to prepare and structure data to support business intelligence and executive reporting
Strong understanding of data integrity, validation, documentation, and version control
Sound judgment in evaluating automation tradeoffs to ensure solutions are sustainable
Hands-on experience within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Excel, Access, SharePoint)
Strong troubleshooting abilities across remote access tools and workstations
Highly organized with excellent follow-through and prioritization skills
Proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and translate business needs into technical solutions
Exceptional communication — friendly, patient, and confident supporting non-technical users
Experience working successfully in a remote, self-directed environment

Preferred

Experience with ASC practice management systems (AdvantX, HST, Vision, SIS, etc.)
Familiarity with RingCentral, ShareFile, VDI environments, and RDP
Experience with SQL or basic scripting (not required but beneficial)
Healthcare or ASC operational experience (preferred but not required)
