Warehouse Manager
M.L. Ball Company, Inc is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their Norcross GA facility. This role is critical in overseeing inventory, documentation, and logistics of specialized water treatment components, while ensuring safety and efficiency in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipments
Maintain accurate, auditable documentation for all inventory movements, with special attention to activated carbon, ion exchange resin, and RO membranes
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of all water treatment materials in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
Coordinate and manage LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight shipments, including scheduling pickups, preparing bills of lading (BOLs), and maintaining communication with freight carriers
Serve as the main point of contact for freight providers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and accurate shipments
Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff; assign tasks and enforce safety and performance standards
Collaborate with Unit Managers and CEO to support operational goals, inventory planning, and process improvements
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve space utilization, accuracy, and efficiency
Generate reports on inventory levels, material usage, freight metrics, and warehouse KPIs
Manage inventory for warehouse supplies
Maintain/Schedule repairs for the equipment and machinery in the warehouse
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
Plan work, assign tasks, and monitor the results of team members
Blend, grind, and bag carbon
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of warehouse management or logistics experience, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or water treatment environment
Demonstrated expertise in inventory control and documentation, including tracking by batch, lot, and weight
Experience handling LTL freight shipments and working directly with carriers on scheduling and documentation
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude is essential
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to design new processes with regard to housekeeping, operations, and overall service quality
High school diploma or equivalent required
Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
Ability to operate sitting forklifts
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs
Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel
Preferred
Proficient in speaking Spanish is a plus for this role
Familiarity with materials such as activated carbon, ion exchange resin, and RO membranes strongly preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
