Responsibilities
Responsible for deploying Oracle quarterly patches
Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation
Work closely with other database administrators, system administrators, developers, testers and GDIT shipboard technicians on troubleshooting and resolving Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) technology stack issues
Collaborate with teammates onsite and through distant support using available and approved remote access tools
Provide expert database administration support in a Hyper-V/VSphere virtualization environment
Qualification
Required
Secret clearance level must currently possess
Secret clearance level must be able to obtain
US Citizenship Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Systems
3+ years of related experience working as an Oracle/PeopleSoft DBA
In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and shell/Windows scripting on multiple operating systems and network platforms
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Prior experience working with and knowledge of the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS)
