Responsibilities
Assist in relay and metering design of substations
Generate designs, drawings, specifications, and material lists
Develop SEL relay logic, SCADA point lists, and communication processor configurations
Prepare compliance spreadsheets and technical documentation
Qualification
Required
Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronic Technology
2–5 years of experience in relay and metering
Working knowledge of: Relay event analysis and protective relays
Working knowledge of: SCADA systems and point list development
Working knowledge of: Revenue meters, power/current transformers, and circuit protection equipment
Working knowledge of: Wave traps, capacitor banks, carrier equipment, and reactors
Equivalent education and experience will be considered
