Responsibilities
Performing preventive maintenance on trailers, ensuring they meet all safety and operational standards
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including brakes, lights, suspensions, and tires
Conducting detailed inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
Using diagnostic tools and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair trailer components
Collaborating with team members to complete repairs efficiently and meet company standards
Maintaining accurate service records to track work performed and ensure compliance with regulations
Ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory requirements, keeping our fleet reliable and our drivers safe on the road
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Trailer Maintenance
Able to complete the advanced repair work independently
Experience in trailer maintenance and repair
Strong knowledge of braking systems, electrical wiring, suspensions, and trailer components
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues independently using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset, ensuring high-quality work that meets compliance standards
A team-oriented approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
Preferred
2+ years of experience in Trailer Maintenance
ASE Certification and two years of schooling or experience
