KIP Summer 2026 - Public Affairs Intern - American Legislative Exchange Council
Stand Together is running the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid, 12-week experiential learning program offering meaningful work experience at non-profits. The Public Affairs Intern will assist in executing outreach campaigns and report releases targeted at opinion elites, legislators, and the media, with a focus on strategic communication and engagement.

Assist with report releases, op-ed placement, LTE- and speech writing
Fill key roles on the team with a focus on digital advocacy, marketing or videography
Qualification
Required
Geographically located within the U.S
Authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Available every Thursday from 1-3:30 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Available for the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Preferred
Background or relevant coursework in political science, public relations, marketing, or creative competencies such as graphic design or video production
Political science or journalism backgrounds
Digital advocacy, marketing or videography background
