The Recruiter will support the full-cycle recruiting process for apprentice-level and early career positions, engaging with new talent and coordinating new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

Recruit for apprentice-level and early‑career roles across multiple trades (e.g., Sheetmetal, Plumbing/Pipefitting, Welding, HVAC, etc.)
Conduct resume screening, phone screens, and candidate communication
Maintain job postings across internal and external platforms
Build relationships with trade schools, high schools, workforce programs, and apprenticeship partners
Attend job fairs, community events, and career days to attract talent directly from high schools and local training programs
Coordinate and support weekly New Hire Orientation
Prepare orientation materials, schedules, and communication for employees and managers
Partner with HR and Safety to ensure compliance requirements are met for all new hires
Work directly with Construction leadership to understand upcoming labor needs
Provide candidate updates and support scheduling of interviews with hiring managers
Participate in workforce planning conversations related to apprentices and early-career pipeline roles
Update candidate records and requisitions in Workday
Maintain tracking spreadsheets, recruiting dashboards, and event calendars
Assist with building recruiting materials, presentations, and early-career outreach campaigns

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in recruiting, HR, or workforce development
Ability to attend job fairs and community events (occasionally early mornings/late afternoons)
Comfortable learning HR systems (Workday experience a plus but not required)

Preferred

Experience working with students, job seekers, or community programs
Previous exposure to construction, skilled trades, or apprenticeship programs
Valid driver's license for local travel
