Lead Supply Systems Analyst
DLA Careers is seeking a Lead Supply Systems Analyst to oversee the development of functional requirements and policies for depot-wide supply systems. The role involves analyzing automated systems, providing training, troubleshooting issues, and preparing documentation related to supply systems and operations.

Responsibilities
Serves as work leader on a team that develops general and detailed functional requirements and policies for depot wide supply systems, databases, programs, operations, and automated data processing methods and techniques
Analyzes automated systems and their interface with other systems relative to receipt, storage, and issue processes
Plans specific studies to develop new and improved programs and methods
Provides impromptu and classroom training on automated supply systems, databases, programs, operations, and automated data processing methods and techniques
Serves as a troubleshooter to resolve problems in the current automated system/database/program
Prepares reports, official correspondence, standard operating procedures, memorandums, policies, and informative papers on all aspects of automated supply systems, databases, programs, operations, and processing methods

Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Non-Exempt
Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service

Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement
Creditable specialized experience includes: Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions associated with interrelated supply systems and databases
Planning and organizing work; and
Instructing personnel on supply systems and automated data processing
