Responsibilities
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for source control systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
Lead a high-performing team of engineers and architects responsible for Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and automation
Drive adoption of ONE Software Engineering System (OSES) principles to unify processes and tooling across development teams
Promote an Agentic culture by enabling teams to make informed decisions and take ownership of outcomes
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and security to align source control practices with business objectives
Implement best-in-class CI/CD integrations, code review standards, and compliance frameworks
Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure uptime and resilience
Advocate for continuous improvement and challenge the status quo to deliver innovative solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
Proven experience managing large-scale source control systems (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket)
Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps, and secure software development practices
Exceptional leadership and communication skills; ability to inspire and align diverse teams
Expertise in distributed version control systems and automation frameworks
Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions
