Responsibilities
Providing support to the Vendor Management Team in the assessment of vendor risks
Resolving the backlog of domestic and international vendors to ensure compliance with WEX Regulatory requirements
Performing data entry for vendor due diligence analytics
Promoting operational enhancements through targeted project-based assignments
Reviewing submitted materials for potential deficiencies and associated risks
Completing outstanding due diligence for established vendors
Validating the accuracy of vendor metadata
Organizing and monitoring the status of due diligence documentation
Actively lead internal projects around vendor management process improvements
Work closely with multiple lines of the business and bring strategic visions to key initiatives
Learn and operate within WEX’s P2P and TPRM tools
Monitor data for relevant risk changes with the tool and escalate as needed
Qualification
Required
At a minimum, you should be a rising Junior or Senior Bachelor's student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
Strong time management skills, including planning and execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and a willingness to try new things
Ability to work effectively under limited supervision
Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets is a must
