Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruiting including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer coordination
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes including background checks, new hire documentation, system setup, and terminations
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required employment documentation
Administer payroll through an HRIS platform including timecard review, PTO tracking, commissions, and garnishments
Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
Partner with accounting and leadership to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
Lead employee relations matters including investigations, corrective actions, and terminations
Ensure compliance with California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, OSHA, DOT, workers’ compensation, and safety reporting requirements
Support training documentation, workforce compliance initiatives, and audits as needed
Manage benefits administration including enrollments, changes, open enrollment, and employee education
Coordinate insurance renewals and vendor relationships
Support compensation planning, bonuses, and internal equity initiatives
Coordinate with IT, operations, and accounting on employee access, equipment, and systems
Support internal communications and HR-related policy updates
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist
Strong working knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements
Experience managing payroll and benefits administration
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom or similar preferred)
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
