Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines that process and integrate data from multiple sources into the Enterprise Data Platform
Build pipelines and workflows as code using modern engineering practices including version control, testing, reusable components, and code reviews
Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements that support business outcomes
Build and optimize Structured Query Language queries and data transformations supporting data products and business use cases
Create and manage data models and review them with business collaborators and data architects
Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to maintain accuracy and consistency
Automate workflows to improve data processing efficiency and reduce manual work
Implement and support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for data pipelines including automated builds, tests, deployments, and environment promotion
Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and alerting for data pipelines and queries; contribute to operational runbooks and support processes
Participate in Agile ceremonies to plan, estimate, and deliver work efficiently
Assist in developing documentation for data workflows, transformations, and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience in a data engineering or related role
Proficiency in Structured Query Language for data transformation and analysis
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
Experience using Python or PySpark for data processing
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
Experience with DevOps practices including Git-based development and pull requests
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment for data pipelines
