Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive reviews of government specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
Allocate specifications to various system components, ensuring each component meets the required standards and performance criteria
Develop and maintain detailed system trees, decomposing systems into manageable components and sub-components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all specifications and allocations are clearly understood and integrated into the project plan
Utilize IBM Rational DOORS for managing and tracing specifications, ensuring traceability from high-level requirements to detailed system components
Participate in requirements verification and validation activities to ensure all government specifications are met
Develop and maintain Verification Cross Reference Matrices to ensure traceability between requirements and verification activities
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of specification reviews, allocation processes, system tree decomposition, and verification activities
Provide training and support to team members on government specification requirements, system decomposition, verification processes, and cross-reference matrix development best practices
Ensure all systems engineering practices comply with regulatory and company standards, including any updates or changes in government specifications

Required

Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of technical experience in Software Engineering or a related discipline accompanied by high proficiency in technical development and problem solving across the full development lifecycle; Master's degree with 7 years of experience; or PhD with 4 years of experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Collateral Secret clearance
Experience in at least one of the following areas: Requirements development, or Verification planning, or Cameo Architecture updates
