Responsibilities
Provides legal guidance across all key Stellarus functions, working with senior business leaders across: Product, AI and Development, Operations, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, commercial contracts, and general corporate law guidance to the company's leadership team
Assist in other substantive legal areas and work with the company's leadership team, CLO, Privacy and Compliance and outside counsel on as needed
Provide thoughtful, creative and timely legal advice to various Stellarus business units
Work collaboratively with a broad range of leaders and functions, developing and maintaining strong relationships between the Stellarus Law Department, Stellarus business and technology leaders and across the Ascendiun Family of Companies’ legal teams
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law, commercial contracts, and governance
Experience advising on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and alliances
Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful and creative legal advice
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare-related legal issues
Familiarity with privacy and compliance regulations
Experience working in a high-growth company environment
