Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the developmental activities associated with the calibration and validation of electric power steering actuators in vehicle, through simulation, as well as in laboratory settings
You will be Responsible for vehicle level test specifications, procedures, instrumentation, and simulations, ensuring fulfillment of all IATF audit requirements
Work directly with various automotive partners to ensure all steering objective and subjective metrics are met
Analyze test data, evaluation feedback, and validation results to provide guidance for success
Participate in technical activities associated with system/part development; aid in systematic problem solving; communicate and collaborate with cross functional team members. Late night or early morning communication will be required with global colleagues
Participate in benchmarking activities to gain insight into competitor products, market trends, and product opportunities
Office/lab attendance required dependent on needs of the project
Responsibilities performed in a technical facility with labs, testing equipment, and areas of a traditional office environment
Travel to customer locations, specifically test tracks, domestic and international

Required

This position requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Possess a valid driver's license
5+ years of professional experience in related areas of vehicle development or stability and system control
Very proficient computer skills with ability to learn multiple advanced control software packages
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills
High degree of motivation and initiative, with ability to make decisions
Ability to work independently or collaborate on a team
Good planning and organizational skills required to handle multiple project assignments concurrently
Team oriented, patient, positive attitude, and trainable/strong desire to learn

Experience in performance or advanced driver training
