Responsibilities
Ensure quality housekeeping, maintenance, and repair practices are followed for the property
Oversee daily operations, including all phases of maintenance for common areas (buildings, grounds), and manage external contractors to ensure compliance with company standards and maintenance agreements
Identify maintenance needs for common areas, solicit and review contractor bids
Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and discipline maintenance staff
Maintain roadways, parking areas, curbs, sidewalks, doors, furniture, restrooms, landscaping, floors, lighting, HVAC, stormwater management systems, and roof systems
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance activities
In-depth understanding of corporate standards for shopping centers and ability to meet them
Proven leadership and management skills with a focus on team building, staff development, and supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with tenants, vendors, and employees
Ability to relay technical concerns accurately and efficiently
High initiative and strong independent judgment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Skilled in writing reports and business correspondence
Ability to follow complex instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Valid driver's license with travel required between locations
