Strategic Planning Specialist
Chervon North America, Inc. is one of the world’s largest power tool and outdoor power equipment manufacturers with a rich history of innovation. The Strategic Planning Specialist will play an important role in shaping and improving the company's strategy for the North America region by building long-term plans and monitoring key trends that influence the business.

Responsibilities
Supports the development of long-term and annual strategic plans for the North America region by translating corporate objectives into clear priorities, initiatives, and execution roadmaps
Partners with cross-functional leaders to assess opportunities, risks, and trade-offs that support growth and profitability
Monitors consumer behavior, competitive activity, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities impacting the business
Synthesizes insights into clear, actionable perspectives that inform leadership decision-making and strategic planning
Leads quantitative market research initiatives to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, and business scenarios
Translates research findings into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations that support data-driven decision-making
Supports the definition and tracking of key performance metrics to monitor progress against strategic and operating plans
Reviews business performance to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and partners with stakeholders to recommend course-correcting actions as needed
Supports high-priority strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects across brands, categories, and channels
Contributes to the continuous improvement of strategy processes, tools, and ways of working to strengthen overall strategic capability within the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
3-6 years of experience in corporate strategy, business planning, management consulting, or a related analytical role
Experience conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic assessments
Experience managing quantitative market research projects
Problem-solving skills, with experience building financial models, market sizing, and scenario analyses
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready presentations and recommendations
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders across the organization
Strong business acumen with an understanding of consumer products, durable goods, or industrial markets preferred
Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools or market research platforms a plus
