AP/Accounting Specialist (Payroll/Accounting/HR)
Arkansas Talent Group is searching for a dynamic and experienced AP/Accounting Specialist with advanced skills in full charge bookkeeping, payroll, and light human resources. This role is essential to the company's operations and involves managing accounting tasks, payroll processing, and HR functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities
Full Charge Bookkeeping: Manage all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end close processes
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing for 30+ employees (use a third-party processor), ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations
Human Resources: Handle HR functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws
Office Management: Perform administrative tasks, data entry, purchasing, billing, and setting up standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Accounting Projects: Assist with various accounting projects, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Daily Accounting Operations: Take charge of daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, ensuring hands-on involvement in the two-person accounting/HR team
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role within a small to mid-sized business, preferably in the service or construction industry
Proficiency with Excel (intermediate) and have varied CRM exposure
Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and a team player who enjoys a variety of tasks
Must be personable and able to foster a positive work environment
Must have a flexible, relationship/people first demeanor
