Responsibilities
Design and implement automation and control systems from development through commercial manufacturing
Program and troubleshoot PLC and control systems using platforms such as DeltaV, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and related environments
Integrate manufacturing equipment with enterprise systems including MES, SCADA, and data historians
Oversee development of electrical schematics, control panels, and P&IDs
Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and equipment qualification activities
Contribute to automation strategy and phase planning across projects
Develop and review technical documentation including URS, FRS, FMEAs, P&IDs, SOPs, and maintenance plans
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; support deviation, CAPA, and change control activities
Provide technical updates and coordinate activities with project and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Engineering or related discipline
10+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls, preferably within pharmaceutical or cGxP-regulated environments
Hands-on experience with DeltaV, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens control systems
Strong troubleshooting experience with PLCs, sensors, and industrial automation equipment
Knowledge of equipment safety standards and regulatory requirements
Understanding of cGxP environments; familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and 21 CFR 820 is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and communicate effectively across teams
