Responsibilities
Develop front‑end components using Angular and responsive UI frameworks including Material Design
Implement backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Design and integrate RESTful APIs supporting enterprise features
Support GIS integrations and spatial data processing
Implement automated testing using jUnit; optionally Jasmine and Karma
Develop enterprise Power BI dashboards and reporting integrations
Design PostGIS‑based reporting layers and support PostgreSQL or similar databases
Work with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, and related cloud tools
Work with ArcGIS Online, WebEOC ArcGIS extensions, and related GIS tools
Use development tools such as VS Code, Eclipse, and Git/Azure Repos
Develop GIS capabilities including geocoding and geoprocessing services
Manage ArcGIS Enterprise/Online administration tasks
Apply design patterns, SOLID principles, mobile‑first development, and accessibility standards
Ensure compliance with Section 508/ADA, WCAG 2.1 AA, and WAI‑ARIA guidelines
Optimize products for accessibility features across HTML, iOS, and Android platforms
Build digital products that meet required accessibility standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience with Angular (Angular 14+ preferred), responsive UI frameworks, and Material Design
8+ years of Java/Spring Boot microservices development experience
Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
GIS integration and spatial data handling experience
Experience with jUnit; Jasmine/Karma preferred
Power BI dashboard design and reporting integrations
Experience with PostGIS and PostgreSQL or similar databases
Experience with Azure cloud tools including AKS, API Management, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and Docker
Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Esri Maps SDK for JavaScript
Knowledge of ArcPro/ArcObjects, GeoEvent Processor, Velocity, Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps
Experience with geocoding, geoprocessing, and ArcSDE versioning with state trees/branch versioning
Knowledge of linear referencing, Roads and Highways, Oracle Spatial/Locator
Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, mobile‑first development, and accessibility standards
Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA, and WAI‑ARIA best practices
Experience designing for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, and Android platforms
Experience optimizing accessibility features across supported platforms
Preferred
2+ years of PostgreSQL experience
Experience incorporating accessibility tests into development workflows
Experience delivering products where accessibility compliance is part of the “definition of done.”
