Responsibilities
Ensure that all business operations are being conducted in the most efficient, effective, and profitable manner
Manage the processes used in all aspects of the Profit Center’s business, solve problems as they arise, and continually investigate the possibility of productivity improvements
Supervise a team of profit center teammates
Provide training and guidance to profit center teammates to ensure adherence to company policies and delivery procedures
Serve as an escalated point of contact for inquiries or concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Analyze sales and inventory performance reports and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase return on investment and profit sharing
Review daily sales and inventory reports and address issues immediately
Evaluate inventory management reports regularly to ensure an accurate and efficient annual Physical Inventory
Resolve all customer, vendor, and carrier complaints and disputes quickly and effectively
Ensure the Profit Center conducts all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures
Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in compliance with the company’s Safety Standards, OSHA, and any other applicable regulations
Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required
Qualification
Required
3+ years operations experience
Possess a proper and valid driver's license
Ensure that all business operations are being conducted in the most efficient, effective, and profitable manner
Manage the processes used in all aspects of the Profit Center's business, solve problems as they arise, and continually investigate the possibility of productivity improvements
Supervise a team of profit center teammates

Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain customer and vendor contact files and appointments, and to analyze performance data
Possess and maintain product knowledge related to the specific Profit Center market
Be able to create and nurture a positive team environment, training and inspiring all co-workers to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer and employee satisfaction
Be able to build and maintain influential relationships with customers and vendors
Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
Be able to interpret performance report data to determine the effectiveness of business operations and take appropriate action to adjust processes to maximize profitability
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of and able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT and other material handling and facility safety regulations
Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations
Be able to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
Be able to safely operate a forklift and all material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Effectively read, write, speak, and understand English
