Workplace Health and Safety Intern

Responsibilities
Learn to conduct comprehensive safety audits to identify and mitigate potential workplace risks
Develop the capability to analyze safety metrics and incident trends in order to design targeted risk-reduction strategies
Support operations teams in implementing and maintaining compliance with safety policies
Collaborate with site leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement projects
Learn to investigate and document safety incidents, generating detailed reports and actionable recommendations
Qualification
Required
Are enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, logistics, computer science or equivalent
Experience using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, charts, SUMIF formulas, and vlookup functions
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
Preferred
Speak, write, and read fluently in English
