Responsibilities
Facilitate training to new hires and existing employees to help them successfully issue identity credentials, drivers licenses, vehicle titles and registrations
Update the DMV website, DMV SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and other training aids to help our team be successful
Manage our Training, Auditing, and Helpdesk teams
Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject-matter expertise to Training Specialists, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with DMV policies and statutory requirements
Shape and maintain the DMV’s training standards, including reviewing and updating SOPs, developing advanced training materials, and coordinating with program areas to ensure staff receive accurate and timely instruction
Travel to DMV offices across the state to deliver training, evaluate instructional practices, support office operations, and ensure statewide consistency in service delivery
Qualification
Required
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Communications and Media
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Education and Training
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Employee Development
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Interpersonal Skills
Training or education in training and development, human resources, education, instructional design, business administration, social sciences, or a related field
Progressively responsible professional experience in developing, delivering, revising, assessing, and/or evaluating training needs and effectiveness; or human resources
Security clearance issued by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) is necessary to use APSIN
Passing a background investigation including fingerprinting for ALVIN
