Responsibilities
Manage and execute complex litigation matters from inception through trial
Lead trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other necessary filings
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
Take and defend depositions, engage in settlement negotiations, and argue motions in court
Develop case strategies, collaborate with colleagues, and oversee junior attorneys and support staff
Represent clients in pre-trial and trial proceedings, including strategy development and client counseling
Maintain a high level of client communication and provide sound legal advice to clients on complex issues
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and case law to provide optimal client service
Qualification
Required
2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex litigation and trial preparation
Proven experience in managing and preparing cases for trial
Direct trial experience a plus
Strong research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active licensed with CA Bar
