Responsibilities
Enhance existing web page content by applying web best practices to web page content for simplified AI comprehension and indexing
Review existing library of content files for relevancy and restructure library for streamlined AI search ingestion
Assist with planning, designing and building the next generation of our dealer intranet
Design and develop websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
Code web pages utilizing HTML, CSS as well as programming languages such as JavaScript and Jquery
Work on projects including web layout enhancements, SEO and page speed improvements, as well as ADA compliance
Graphic design and optimizing images for web
Assist in testing new software for Sharp websites
Proofread web content, marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, letters, and memorandums before distribution on Sharp websites
Qualification
Required
Currently working towards a degree in Computer Science or a similar field
Desire to learn and grow as a Web Developer
Education and experience in industry standards in website development and content accessibility
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS as well as web development applications such as Visual Studio Code
Knowledge of image editing application programs such as Adobe Photoshop
Proficient using Windows, Microsoft Office suite products
The candidate should show attention to detail, a command of order, a sense of humor, and a drive for client satisfaction. This person will be encouraged to be original and innovative
