Responsibilities

Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation, award, and close
Build and execute strategic account plans targeting key DoD commands and federal civilian organizations
Identify mission critical stakeholders, uncover operational challenges, and align solutions to readiness priorities
Develop long term relationships with senior leaders, program owners, influencers, and end users
Serve as a consultative partner by translating AI capabilities into measurable mission outcomes
Maintain deep awareness of defense and civilian agency priorities, acquisition trends, and competitive dynamics
Navigate contracting pathways and procurement vehicles to accelerate deal progression
Position advanced AI software as a trusted enabler of operational excellence and readiness improvement

Required

5 or more years of quota carrying success in a Federal Account Executive role
Strong preference for experience selling into DoD and or Federal Civilian agencies
Proven ability to sell complex enterprise software such as AI, machine learning, data analytics, or similar platforms
Demonstrated expertise managing long, multi stakeholder sales cycles and strategic account planning
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non technical audiences
Highly motivated self starter who thrives in fast paced, collaborative environments

Preferred

Existing relationships within logistics, sustainment, or readiness communities across the DoD
Strong understanding of federal contracting vehicles and acquisition frameworks
Experience with MEDDIC, Challenger, or other structured enterprise sales methodologies
Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
