Henry Ford Health is seeking an IT Data Warehousing Programmer to support, enhance, and maintain their data warehouse. This role involves designing and implementing data strategies, developing ETL packages, and providing production support in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for production support, enhancement, and maintenance of the data warehouse
Performs data warehouse design and construction
Codes and documents scripts and stored procedures
Designs and implements data strategy methods
Develops appropriate ETL packages, data pipelines, and system documentation
Assists with metadata repository management
Prepares and implements data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse
Creates index and view scripts
Troubleshoots application and data issues and provides production support (including on-call duties in a 24x7 environment) in addition to executing on new projects

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Five (5) years of applicable work experience in a data warehousing environment required
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, and performance tuning
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, real-time analytics, and cloud-based data management
Good understanding of HIPAA data Privacy and Security requirements
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Experience/exposure to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Preferred

Three (3) years applicable experience in a Healthcare setting preferred
Experience with Epic Clarity and Epic Cogito is preferred
Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus
