Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and inspect construction work for industrial facilities infrastructure projects, including steel structures, piping systems, water management, and general facility infrastructure repairs/upgrades
Manage contractors, subcontractors, and crews to ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule standards
Oversee project execution including scope, budget, and schedule adherence in collaboration with owner / stakeholder teams
Conduct inspections, review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document construction progress
Promote safety through risk assessments, pre-job planning, and enforcing safety compliance with corporate and OSHA safety standards and reporting
Utilize infrastructure inspection and assessment experience in conjunction with project management strategic processes to identify and then execute industrial site continuous improvement capital projects while always fostering safety, efficiency, and high quality capital project delivery
Mentor and guide field personnel and trades crews to ensure high performance, successful solution resolution, professional development, owner/stakeholder best interests, and project team goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering OR extensive trade leadership experience with construction capital project supervisory background (e.g., Iron Worker, Pipefitter, Construction Foreman)
Experience working on brownfield construction sites or operating industrial sites
Familiarity with capital project management processes and industrial construction standards
3–10 years of experience with construction project hands on work, organization, and oversight, capital project execution, and/or construction field inspection and supervision
Hands-on experience with industrial facility infrastructure construction work dealing with steel, piping, concrete, and other industrial infrastructure components
Proven ability to supervise tradespeople and contractors in a safe, organized, and proactive, strategic, and productive manner
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with MS Office / 365; familiarity with project management tools
