GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aerospace industry, and they are seeking an Evendale Development Mechanic. The role involves performing assembly, disassembly, and modifications to engineering developmental products and operating test equipment for balancing components.

Responsibilities
Perform the complete assembly, disassembly and/or modifications to engineering developmental products or aircraft gas turbine apparatus, components, sub-assemblies and accessories
Set up and operate all types of balance and high-speed test equipment to balance (and test) an extremely wide variety of developmental rotating parts and components
Add or remove material as necessary to achieve desired balance
Perform in process, final and related inspection functions including using precision checking and measuring devices
Qualification
Required
2 Years of gas turbine engine assembly experience
Mechanical ability and able to read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures and directions
Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments
Must be able to acquire and maintain a variety of security and program clearances
Preferred
F.A.A. Power Plant License required for new pref. or re-hires after October 15, 2005
