The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Services Intern for the Water Resource Management Program. The intern will assist with groundwater sampling, quality assurance procedures, and data management while learning about water quality standards and regulations.

Assist and perform groundwater sampling

Learn various sampling techniques
Summarize field data
Assist with data and file management
Learn to understand and follow standard operating procedures
Qualification

Strong organizational skills
Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying one of the Physical Sciences
