Mid, Senior LevelForza Group is seeking a skilled Tekla Steel Detailer with experience detailing projects in accordance with AISC standards. The ideal candidate will create and maintain structural steel models and produce accurate shop drawings that meet project specifications and codes.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain structural steel and miscellaneous steel models using Tekla Structures
Produce fabrication shop drawings and erection drawings in compliance with AISC, AWS, and ASTM standards
Generate CNC/NC data and material lists for fabrication
Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and RFIs
Revise models and drawings based on design changes and field conditions
Support fabrication and erection teams throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as required
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Steel Detailer / Tekla Detailer
Proficiency in Tekla Structures
Strong working knowledge of AISC, AWS, and relevant ASTM standards
Ability to detail common steel connections (shear, moment, bearing, etc.)
Experience producing shop and erection drawings for fabricators and erectors
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
Preferred
Experience with Tekla PowerFab
Experience with commercial, industrial, or heavy structural steel projects
Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows (IFC, model sharing, etc.)
Experience coordinating connection design with engineers
Previous work directly supporting AISC-certified fabrication shops
