Education Management
Responsibilities
Serve as the dedicated data steward and primary point of contact for complex enrollment datasets across key Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS) units, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar/Enrollment Management Technology, and Marketing & Communications
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective management of enrollment data
By upholding rigorous data standards and supporting the implementation of robust data management plans and policies, directly contribute to GEMSS' achieving strategic recruitment and enrollment goals and provides expert stewardship of NYU's critical data assets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of related experience in data governance, data management, quality assurance; and/or data collection, retrieval, analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting in an applied context
Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Excellent listening and observation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with databases and ad hoc data management tools
Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau/Tableau Prep or equivalent)
Ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and software
Preferred
Master's Degree in Data Management or equivalent discipline
2+ years Related experience in higher education, and particularly in data governance, data management, quality assurance and/or data collection, retrieval
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with Slate, Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Collibra
