Construction Specialties is a specialty building products manufacturer that provides solutions to building challenges faced by architects, designers, and contractors. The Legal Intern will review and organize corporate documents, assist in contract reviews, and participate in various legal matters to gain insight into the functions of in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

Review agreements, minutes, tax records, and similar documents for all CS entities
Collaborate with Legal and other groups to organize and file documents
Assist in document destruction once retention period expires
Assist in contract review
Participate in various legal issues, such as litigation, compliance, etc., as they arise

Required

Rising junior or senior in a Bachelor's Degree program, with an interest in attending law school; or first or second year law school student with an interest in in-house counsel activities
High school graduate/GED required
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills - written and verbal
Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH)

Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation
