Senior Leave Management Specialist - Remote

They are seeking a Senior Leave Management Specialist responsible for the day-to-day administration of leave of absence cases, providing guidance to employees and managers, and enhancing the Leave Concierge service in collaboration with HR management.

Responsibilities
Maintain master Leave of Absence log for all past, current, pending and upcoming leave cases
Primary point of contact for employees and managers
Primary point of contact for the company’s leave of absence administrator regarding case updates
Enter and maintain accurate Workday documents and absence calendars
Partner with Benefits and Payroll to ensure proper leave payments and benefit deductions
Inventory management and initiate delivery of care packages
Responsible for sending gifts for those on disability or taking bereavement leave
Collect data for submitting monthly and quarterly private state plan premium reports for payment
Establish communication best practices for employees and managers
Work directly with the HR Manager on sensitive leave cases
Triage questions that are unrelated to Leave of Absence
Remain knowledgeable of state specific paid & unpaid leave laws
Assist HR Manager with the administration and updates to state specific paid sick leave laws
Maintain employee data in HRIS
Assist with reporting of leave of absence data
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Ability to garner and foster trust and credibility
Ability to build and maintain strong business partnerships
Knowledge and Understanding of Federal and State Leave laws and regulations
Must be self-motivated and disciplined
Takes initiative and thinks outside the box

Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree, highly preferred; preferably in Human Resource management or related field
Minimum 1+ years' of Leave of Absence experience required
Preferred
Experience with Workday software system, highly preferred
Professional HR designation (PHR or SHRM-CP), a plus
