The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Services Intern to assist in various drinking water compliance projects. The intern will focus on acute regulations and participate in the review of analytical data and sampling plans.

Assist in various drinking water compliance projects with a focus on acute regulations including the Revised Total Coliform Rule, Lead and Copper, and Nitrate
Participate in the review of analytical data, sampling plans, chains of custody and water system inventories
Develop internal and external guidance

possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Seeking individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography; or in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering
