Responsibilities
Partner with digital marketing and demand generation teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels (website, email, social, and digital media) that support brand awareness and business objectives
Support website and digital content strategy by contributing to messaging, campaign pages, and performance-driven content that aligns with go-to-market priorities
Develop and execute strategic communications plans for external audiences, including media relations, press releases, and stakeholder engagement to enhance company visibility and reputation
Serve as a key point of contact for media interactions, managing inquiries, coordinating interviews, and ensuring consistent messaging
Partner with marketing leadership to align brand messaging and communications strategies across all external channels and campaigns
Collaborate with executive staff to develop key messaging themes and narratives that support company goals and product launches
Oversee the creation of high-quality content including executive communications, press releases, customer announcements, blog posts, and thought leadership articles
Lead internal communications initiatives to promote organizational alignment, employee engagement, and company culture
Coordinate with Human Resources and department leaders to manage change communications and ensure consistent messaging across internal platforms
Support executive preparation for media interviews, speaking engagements, and industry events
Manage relationships with external PR agencies, media organizations, and communication vendors
Track and report on communications metrics and campaign effectiveness to inform strategy
Oversee team members and coordinate with contractors/agencies to deliver on communications objectives
Promote events, conferences, and tradeshows through targeted communication activities

Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or related field
Proven track record developing and executing strategic communications campaigns that drive business results
Strong, versatile writing skills with experience authoring press releases, executive communications, and external-facing content
Experience managing media relations activities and serving as a company spokesperson or key media contact
Demonstrated ability to distill complex technical and industry topics into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences
Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proficiency with communications tools and platforms (e.g., content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media)
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales, and executive leadership
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Preferred
Experience in the renewable energy, solar, or energy storage industry
Knowledge of clean energy technology and sustainability topics
Experience managing or mentoring team members
Familiarity with crisis communications and issues management
Experience with investor relations communications
Understanding of B2B communications strategies and enterprise audiences
Certification in public relations or communications (e.g., APR accreditation) is a plus
