TWS Support Engineer
Genesis10 is currently seeking a TWS Support Engineer with our banking company client in their Jersey City, NJ location. The candidate will be responsible for supporting existing and future Workload schedulers, translating technical requirements into scheduled jobs, and providing maintenance and support for IBM Workload scheduler.

Responsibilities
Supporting existing and future Workload schedulers
Translating job scheduling business technical requirements into scheduled jobs
Designing, developing, documenting and implementing major product upgrades and migration processes
Providing maintenance and support of the existing IBM Workload scheduler
Designing and developing schedules for on prem and cloud based applications
Designing and developing Cloud based job types like REST API, Azure DataFactory, Azure Databrick etc
Troubleshooting and resolution of productions failures
Working with various teams with the deployment, configuration and validation of new schedules in all environments
Performance tuning exercise to increase the productivity of scheduling tools
Impact analysis for new implementations on existing systems and document back out plans for all implementations performed
Participating in cross training sessions with the other teams
Providing solutions to problems before they surface
Juggling project work, with day-to-day issues and user requests
Qualification
Required
Experience in translating job scheduling business technical requirements into scheduled jobs
Design, develop, document and implement major product upgrades and migration processes
Provide maintenance and support of the existing IBM Workload scheduler
Design and develop schedules for on prem and cloud based applications
Design and develop Cloud based job types like REST API, Azure DataFactory, Azure Databrick etc
Troubleshooting and resolution of productions failures
Work with various teams with the deployment, configuration and validation of new schedules in all environments

Preferred
8+ years of experience with scheduling tools like IBM Workload automation, Autosys or other prominent schedulers in the market
Strong cloud infrastructure experience
Have experience in a similar position
Experience with Oracle / SQL databases
Experience with RedHat Linux, AIX and Windows
Experience with cloud based technologies such as Azure and others
