Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
ITC Defense Corp. is seeking to hire a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in support of U.S. Navy /Air Force CYP CCTV Lifecycle Support Service program. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity architectures and security controls across networks, systems, and applications, while ensuring compliance with various cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity architectures and security controls across networks, systems, and applications
Apply security best practices aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and Zero Trust frameworks
Evaluate, integrate, and manage security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, and IAM
Lead or support threat detection, incident response, forensic analysis, and remediation activities
Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and root cause analysis
Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability management, including remediation tracking
Coordinate penetration testing activities and report on security metrics and overall risk posture
Support compliance, audit, and ATO efforts (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP)
Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across government and contractor teams

Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, or related technical field
Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards
DoD 8570.1M–compliant certification at one or more of the following levels: Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I, Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I, Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I
Experience supporting DoD RMF A&A/ATO activities, including control implementation, documentation, ongoing compliance, and POA&M management
Proven experience with vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, remediation tracking, and cybersecurity incident response
Preferred
Experience with NIST, CMMC, Zero Trust, and cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on expertise with security tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, IAM) and vulnerability management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills to assess risks and develop solutions
