Responsibilities

Maintain positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and exercising flexibility to best serve the public during all work activities
Prepares for public programs/presentations and exhibitions/displays relating to the site's mission statement. Giving tours through the historic home and providing information on the site history
Performs museum duties, including cash register operation, securing, and processing revenue according to policy and procedure, taking inventory and stocking museum store merchandise
Conducts maintenance tasks in assigned work areas including inspection of structures and grounds. Work activities in this area include contributing to a safe, secure, clean, and orderly environment for the public and staff. Cleaning of the historic home and museum building and attached porches, cleaning all site public restrooms, cleaning ranch outbuildings: blacksmith shop, big barn, log cabin, and observation tower

Required

High School Diploma or GED
