Portfolio Management Analyst

Ashford Inc. is seeking an Analyst of Portfolio Management to join their dedicated Products and Services team. The role involves providing ongoing support for portfolio companies, working on financial reviews, and preparing presentations for management.

Asset Management

Responsibilities

Develop strong working relationships with the management teams of our portfolio companies and target companies
Preparation/review of existing portfolio company budgets, goals and forecasts
Monthly financial reviews of each portfolio company
Ability to take a large amount of data and analysis and convert into a concise presentation to inform executives
Analyze and monitor debt metrics including payment terms, financial covenants, and other restrictions
Assist with the preparation of Ashford board and investment committee presentations
Conduct industry research
Ad hoc projects

Required

Undergraduate degree in analytical field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.) required
1-2 years of work experience
Strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically
Basic understanding of accounting and P&L analysis
Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Be an independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Have a very strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
