College Intern - Supply Chain Analyst

InternAsphalt Materials, Inc. is currently seeking an intern to spend this summer helping our Purchasing Department as a Supply Chain Analyst Intern. The role involves assisting in proposals, tracking processes, and compliance projects while gaining exposure to various business lines.

Responsibilities
Assisting in creating and developing proposals, bids, and purchase requests
Understand and create tracking and communication processes for trucking, rail, and purchasing
Assist in developing and implementing strategies for purchasing chemicals, raw materials, and trucking
Will have exposure to multiple lines of business
Helping the team complete compliance projects using excel
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working toward a bachelor's degree or recent graduate in: Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Economics, General Business, or Related Fields
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products especially Excel and PowerPoint (should be familiar with pivot tables and v lookups, etc.)
Willingness to learn and be an excellent team player
