Responsibilities

Lead Dexcom’s global compliance program, including policy development, training, monitoring, risk assessments, and system implementations
Oversee ethics hotline, internal investigations and partner with Legal, HR, and business leaders to ensure timely resolution and remediation
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compliance risks, trends, and mitigation strategies and present to the Compliance Committee and Nominating Committee
Manage regional compliance leads to ensure consistent implementation of global standards and processes across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas
Drive awareness campaigns and training programs to promote a culture of integrity and accountability
Support compliance-related aspects of M&A, new market entry, and third-party risk management
Represent Dexcom in external audits, regulatory inquiries, and industry forums as needed

Required

Minimum of 15 years in corporate compliance, preferably in medical device or healthcare sector
Proven track record of managing global compliance programs, investigations, and global teams
Strong knowledge of anti-bribery, anti-kickback, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws
Comfortable presenting to, counseling, and interacting with C-level executives and Directors
Committed to teamwork and maintaining strong relationships and lines of communication with business partners and other key stakeholders across the organization
Excellent decision-making skills, practical business judgement, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to work in person in the San Diego office 2-3 days per week and as required, local within 75 miles is strongly preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of industry experience
13+ years of successful leadership management experience in relevant industry
