The Gatekeeper System Engineer will provide SDLC support for the GATEKEEPER product, assisting in building and managing product installations for DoD customers.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will work with a team of developers, QA, DevOps and system engineers to provide SDLC support for the GATEKEEPER product
The Systems Engineer will assist the building and managing GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers

Required

TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines is required
5+ years of software engineering experience is required
2+ years' work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is required
4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, for a total of 9 years

Preferred

Design and implement features with minimal supervision
Collaborate closely with the test team, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements
Good communication (written and verbal)
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Optimize application performance and scalability
Participate in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback) and general knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA)
Experience with version control (Git)
Full stack developer desired: Be well versed and front-end development as well as have experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Java, Spring Boot, Angular (or similar), experience with AWS
Take ownership of features or small projects end-to-end
