Fellow Engineer - Structural Analyst
CRC Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Fellow Engineer - Structural Analyst to provide advanced analysis and design of buildings and structures. The role involves resolving complex problems in structural analysis, leading task teams, and ensuring quality and budget compliance.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced analysis and design of all types of buildings and structures for normal and accident loading conditions
Apply technical experience in field of specialization or broad-based experience in multiple technical fields, and use other technical resources within the company, to resolve complex problems
Incorporate advanced technical practices and a variety of complex features such as complicated technical requirements, application of new or special materials or processes and difficult coordination or oversight requirements into problem solving and program planning
Develop solutions to complex technical problems in fields of expertise
Lead task teams for developing solutions to more complex problems
Prepare plans including schedules, budgets and personnel requirements for solving major technical tasks identified by management
Develop schedules, monitor progress, monitor expenditures of budget and review quality of work performed. Include research, development, testing, quality assurance requirements
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience, OR A MS degree and 12 years' experience. OR A BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience
8 years of recent experience in design and analysis of NRC or DOE regulated nuclear facilities
Experience with finite element analysis is required
Working knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS or ABAQUS or similar computer codes
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards; specifically, IBC, AISC (ASD, LRFD, & N690), ACI (318 & 349) and ASCE (4, 7 & 43)
Preferred
Current Registration as a Professional Engineer in either Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience in analysis for structural response to explosion (blast/detonation and deflagration)
Experience with DOE natural phenomena hazard (NPH), Standard 1020, criteria
