Manage a caseload at various phases of litigation, from pre-suit through resolution
Conduct legal research and develop strategic case plans
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement documents
Take and defend depositions; attend hearings, mediations, and related proceedings
Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients
Work both independently and collaboratively within the legal team
Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in Workers' Compensation and/or Personal Injury
Experience representing injured individuals
Conducting depositions
Handling hearings or trial work
Manage a caseload at various phases of litigation, from pre-suit through resolution
Conduct legal research and develop strategic case plans
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement documents
Take and defend depositions; attend hearings, mediations, and related proceedings
Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients
Work both independently and collaboratively within the legal team
Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards
Preferred
2–10 years of relevant experience
Active Illinois Bar license (Missouri license preferred or ability to obtain)
Experience in Workers' Compensation and/or Personal Injury litigation
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage time effectively and move cases forward proactively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general case management software
