Responsibilities
Build and maintain pricing models for all new business products (including renewals, conversions and riders), updating pricing assumptions and metrics annually, and assist with documenting in an annual pricing memo
Assist with annual illustration compliance testing and assist with nonforfeiture testing and creating actuarial memoranda for all new products and as needed
Use pricing models to assess the impact of reinsurance quotes or rate changes within the pricing framework
Support experience studies to evaluate actual experience against pricing assumptions
Pass actuarial exams with the goal of attaining Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or Finance or equivalent experience
Must have passed at least 1 actuarial exam
Preferred
Technical computer skills including spreadsheets and database queries
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and alternative ways to solve those problems
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
