Responsibilities

Install, turn up, and maintain central office equipment including switches, routers, transport shelves, and associated hardware

Perform cross-connects and cable management for copper, fiber, and Ethernet circuits

Support provisioning, migrations, and decom activities for legacy and modern network platforms

Test and troubleshoot DS1/DS3, SONET, Ethernet, and optical circuits using industry test equipment

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on power systems including -48V DC plants, batteries, and rectifiers

Read and interpret engineering drawings, MOPs, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics

Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, cutovers, and emergency restorations

Maintain accurate documentation, records, and work logs in inventory and OSS systems

Follow all safety procedures, grounding requirements, and CO access policies
